Rural Dublin LEADER Company Ltd Rural Dublin LEADER Company Ltd is responsible for administering the EU LEADER+ programme in rural Dublin.

The operational area of the LEADER + programme and the area of operation of Rural Dublin LEADER Company is an area of 592 sq km,which is approximately 72% of the total area of County Dublin,but contains less than 7% of its population.It is an area which is trans-county in that it includes parts of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown , Fingal, and South Dublin.

This is a rural area which has continued to be subject to intense pressure from urban expansion.The current LEADER+ programme runs until 2006.
